It's sad I haven't updated since Oct 1st....

...& now it's almost Christmas!

I always have such good intentions...

Anyhow, we're decorated and ready to go.  It's been a little crazy; doing way more shopping than I'm use to.  

Junior has finally done it to his knee.  I have put off surgery as long as possible I'm afraid, I'm trying to get him scheduled for January.  

 My tree :)  My nephew decorated it, so all the decorations are kinda centrally located.  

 a picture my mom got me for Christmas.  I'm not sure where I'm going to hang it yet, but I'm going to have it up year round.

I'm ready for Halloween!

...except I need pumpkins!  I was contemplating whether or not I even wanted to get pumpkins since it's just my dog and I....and my nephews come over so occasionally.  Seems like blasphemy right?  We shall see!

Happy First Day of Fall!

...I couldn't not post on the first day of fall!  I've put up most of my fall decor (including Halloween) now I just need pumpkins!  I'll be taking pictures soon.  So I had to have soup & corn muffins for dinner to kick off fall.

Relaxing Saturday...

Yesterday my sweet dog and I went to Alafia State Park, then to my moms.  We had a great day!  We went hiking, did some fishing, rode my horse, Junior swam in the creek.  Today I'm trying to plan and get some Halloween stuff out (of course this rain we're having is making it difficult).

 We've had this pumpkin forever, mom said I could take it home to my house :)  I'm so excited to have it! 

 This vine grows down my mom's fence in front of her house, it's really beautiful.
