Hiking

Junior & I took a hike (kinda of).  He's still on restriction from his surgery.  Here are some pictures I took while we were out:
Ok, this wasnt on our hike.  We were at mom's visiting the horses.

 Sparky!

This was our hike; we watched the ducks in the pond.  I wanted to close up of one but but lens isnt strong enough :(

On our hike around the pond.

This is a local (but out in the country) park that is hardly ever used.  That's why we love it!

Well...off from another hiatus

Well, Junior had his other (and final, hopefully) surgery.  I've made a commitment (to myself) to start taking more pictures as well.  I wish I could find someplace to showcase my work.  I will find that place some day!
Junior, home resting.
I've enjoyed getting caught up on other people's blogs.
Hop everyone has had a great start to their new year!  Less wanting, more doing!

Trapunto pictures I purchased at an antique store a few weeks back.  I may try to sell these, but they sure look good on my wall just off my kitchen.
Painting I bought myself just before Christmas.  LOVE IT!

Sunday before Junior's surgery (his surgery was Tuesday morning), we hung out at the causeway.  Had a great time.

It's sad I haven't updated since Oct 1st....

...& now it's almost Christmas!
I always have such good intentions...

Anyhow, we're decorated and ready to go.  It's been a little crazy; doing way more shopping than I'm use to.
Junior has finally done it to his knee.  I have put off surgery as long as possible I'm afraid, I'm trying to get him scheduled for January.

My tree :)  My nephew decorated it, so all the decorations are kinda centrally located.
a picture my mom got me for Christmas.  I'm not sure where I'm going to hang it yet, but I'm going to have it up year round.
 My outside tree :)
The baby has been coming to visit us.  He's gotten so much bigger since this picture!
My village. I was so excited to find the horse and sleigh yesterday at the dollar store!
My manger :)

I made home-made cranberry sauce for t

he first time this Thanksgiving.  Tart, but I loved it!
